Overwatch Uprising with Friends [PC Gameplay]

Completing the Normal difficulty of the new Overwatch ‘Uprising’ DLC, with a bunch of friends on PC. We played the All Heroes option, and this was actually the final attempt of the day, after failed attempts at completing Hard difficulty, haha. Apologies about the technical issues: my mic volume was way too low, and the constant frame drops during crucial moments. To be clear, this was recorded with OBS, so I’ll have to experiment to figure out how to get smooth recordings for games like this. This was definitely a learning experience for future recordings of this style! I hope you’re able to endure the technical stuff, and if you did, thanks for watching!

Players were: BadBigby (Callum) as Widowmaker, GameTripp (Cheri) as Ana, Falconman624 (Noah) as Orisa. And of course, myself, JusticeSoulTuna, as Soldier 76.

Destiny: Rise of Iron – Soundtrack Review

destiny_rise_of_iron_5

I remember saying to myself that I wouldn’t buy the Rise of Iron OST until I had beaten the Raid. I did this particularly because I wanted to savour the satisfaction of having experienced everything the Rise of Iron DLC had to offer, and I could appreciate this feeling through every track in the OST. Luckily, I was able to finally complete the Raid, and I immediately got the OST and found the main track I was looking for: ‘Eyes Up’. This is BY FAR one of Destiny’s best tracks, and one of the most epic boss battle themes in gaming. ‘Eyes Up’ truly embodies the tension, struggle and sense of urgency that the ‘Wrath of the Machine’ Raid’s final boss delivered.

There’s also plenty of other memorable tracks including the main theme (aptly titled ‘Rise of Iron’), Shadow of the Walker (which is very reminiscent of Halo, especially considering the style of the mission this track plays in), Efrideet (the calm music which played during the introduction of the Iron Banner lady), and Sepiks Redux (the excellent guitar remix of the Sepiks Prime theme). The only thing missing is the funky bass solo which plays in the intro segment of the Raid, but you’ll be content with everything else that is here.

It’s a very fascinating mix of styles with this OST; because while the main tone revolves around the theme of knights and the medieval period, there’s also the usual Destiny bounce and charm, seen in tracks such as ‘Siege Engine’. And of course, there’s still some spookiness present in ‘The Archpriest’ and ‘The Wretched Eye’, for those of you missing the darker theme of ‘The Taken King’ DLC. ‘Iron Tomb’s intro is also quite mellow, since it leads to the dramatic final story boss of the DLC.

Destiny: Rise of Iron’s soundtrack is an incredible, fun and epic collection of tracks which, just like the game DLC itself, are wonderfully crafted and unforgettable. It’s a much more heroic departure from the doom and gloom of ‘The Taken King’, and it stands unique against even Destiny’s base game soundtrack. If you enjoyed the Rise of Iron DLC, and you were (understandably) blown away by the Raid music and/or main theme, then get the full soundtrack. It’ll be worth it!

AR Challenges With The Arkham Knight: FINAL

AR Challenges Final thumb

Back again, for the last time, with the Arkham Knight to complete the final batch of the AR figh challenges in Batman: Arkham Knight. I decided to do the remaining parts together; both Crime Fighter Challenge Pack 4 and 5. This includes the Clocktower, Hand of God, Flawless and Wild Cat challenges. These were quite tough to get 3 stars on, and I’m happy to have finished off this series. Thanks for watching, and be sure to Like if you enjoyed this video!

AR Challenges With The Arkham Knight

Apparently, you can use THE Arkham Knight himself to play the Augmented Reality (AR) challenges in Batman: Arkham Knight. He’s very cool, and dynamically different in playstyle, since he actually kills people!
There’s a special way to select him, but I won’t ruin how I came across it 😉 I hope you enjoy the video, and be sure to drop a Like if you do!

-Something to remember the free Revolution DLC weekend with-

It was a huge surprise to be given a chance to play the Revolution DLC map pack on Black Ops II for free, and I decided to play until I got the Peacekeeper (the DLC weapon that came with the map pack, hence being free this weekend) to max level. Aint gonna lie, I fell in love with the Peacekeeper; decent damage, decent fire rate and range, and it just looks really cool. It felt kinda pointless levelling it up as I won’t get to keep it, unless I buy the DLC that is, but it was incredibly fun playing with it. The whole play session made me wish I had decided to buy the DLC maps, and playing in those cool new locations reminded me of how fun it was to get fresh new maps; it keeps COD exciting and surprising even if it feels like it’s gotten samey to play. If I had enough money I’d definitely consider buying all the DLC map packs and/or getting the season pass just so I can try out all the maps, even if I won’t play the game much. If anything it’s worth it just for the experience. In order to immortalize the experience I had and remember the good times I had with the Peacekeeper and playing on the maps for free, here’s some screenshots from my play session:
